Our backtesting is performed using our homegrown backtester bots (included as part of our Bot Library and for purchase). The backtester bot is loaded onto the strategy tester, the input parameters are entered, and the backtesting begins. 

We have developed a backtester bot for all of our strategies (excluding Alpine). They are comprehensively explained in the Bot Library, and also included in the purchase of any of our trading bots. 

Defining features –

• Historical tick data 
• Start-to-end duration. Backtesting begins at start time determined by the signal confirmation, and end time can be when either a) hit the Stop Loss or Take Profit or b) the signal has changed.
• Latest reports, updated periodically
